A private entrepreneur with a strong background in business development and venture creation is seeking a Founding CTO / Tech Co-Founder to lead a new and innovative startup in the Gaming / Short-Form Video / UGC space. The project is currently at an advanced POC stage with a complete UX document and has been self-funded to date.
Responsibilities:
Build the entire technology infrastructure from the ground up: Frontend, Backend, and Infrastructure.
Hands-on development of the POC and MVP through Beta release.
Define architecture, choose technologies, and ensure scalability, quality, and security.
Represent the technological side in investor meetings.
Recruit and lead the initial engineering team.
Make critical technological decisions in full partnership with the founder.
Must-Have Requirements:
Experience as CTO or Tech Lead in early-stage startups (Pre-Seed / Seed) — required.
Proficiency in React Native and Node.js / TypeScript — required.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP), including CDN, storage, and video transcoding — required.
High level of English (spoken and written) — required.
Based in Israel, hybrid work model — required.
Significant Advantages:
Background in Short-Form Video, Creator Economy, or viral content.
Experience in mobile architecture, CI/CD, and basic DevOps.
Ability to present tech strategy to investors.
Location: Israel, hybrid work.
